Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with complex network environments and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and implement performance tuning where necessary.
- Ensure network security through proactive monitoring, patching, and policy enforcement.
- Manage network architecture for multi-site and multi-vendor environments.
- Collaborate with global teams for infrastructure upgrades and incident resolution.
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation.
- Lead complex network troubleshooting efforts and root cause analyses.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and HP networking devices.
- Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Proven expertise in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, STP, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft and Cisco-certified environments.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with VoIP, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust Network architectures.
- Experience in global or enterprise-scale environments.
